NEFTA - Current NewsEFF FUNDING NEFTA staff are delighted that applications for safety refresher and new entrant training has been successful. The EFF award will enable NEFTA to offer experienced fishermen in the northeast the opportunity to re-attend basic safety training free of charge DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT (DOT) FUNDING Funding is also available for training linked to the Under 16.5m Skipper's Certificate and the provision of grants to fishermen undertaking fishing vessel certificates of competency. Funding will continue at least until 31/03/2012 hopefully longer if efforts to secure additional funding is successful
